Family Medicine Physician- Lynchburg Location

The Board Certified Family Medicine Physician works as part of the clinical provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for clinic patients. Physicians may assist in supervision of PA’s or NP’s Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completed an approved residency program in his/her medical specialty, be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and have the ability to relate effectively with patients and staff. Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Adult)- Lynchburg Location

The provider works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients.  The provider performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician within the context of a federally qualified community health center (FQHC).  Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited PA or NP program and be licensed to in the state of Virginia. Dental Assistant- Atherholt and Madison Heights Locations

The Dental Assistant will assist the Dental Director and Dental Hygienist in the caring and treatment of patients, filing patient charts, updating patient records, and performing administrative duties including identified project coordination. Certified/Registered Medical Assistant- Full Time and Part Time Positions Available

Individual will function in conjunction with a medical provider to assist in the provision of professional medical care and nursing support. The nursing staff plays a critical role in the delivery of quality medical care within the context of a federally qualified health center (FQHC).  The MA is required to have completed the requirements from an accredited institution and have 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Obstetrical/Gynecological Physician

The Obstetrical/Gynecological physician works as part of the obstetrical team performing a variety of direct obstetrical patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring of the obstetrical patient management plan, as well as, delivery and postpartum care.  The obstetrician performs these functions under the general supervision of the Director of Obstetrical services and /or the Medical Director in a primary health care setting. Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and accredited residency programs one of which must be in Obstetrics. LPN- Adult and Pediatric Positions Available

Individual will function in conjunction with a medical provider, to assist in the provision of professional medical care and nursing support clinical duties in a clinical setting. The nursing staff plays a critical role in the delivery of quality medical care. The LPN is required to have graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical nursing program and be licensed with the Virginia State Board of Nursing with a current LPN license. 1-3 years’ experience in an outpatient clinical setting is preferred. Behavioral Health Medical Assistant

Referral Coordinator

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for co-facilitating the daily operations of the referral program throughout all Johnson Health Center sites. Individual should have a proven ability to be self-motivated, patient oriented, flexible, and be able to work independently yet function well within a dynamic referral team. The successful candidate will work with a broad patient population, JHC staff, and the outside Provider Community supporting the provider team in a patient centered, model of care. Individual will play a critical role in answering phones, referring & scheduling appointments in a timely fashion, ensuring compliance with the delivery of quality medical care within the context of a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Successful candidate will handle patient relations in a positive & professional manner.  Individual manages community specialist and diagnostic testing referrals as requested by provider staff, while maintaining excellent customer service. The Referral Coordinator(s) will work closely with various staff throughout the organization to train, address problem resolution, improve performance, and reporting capabilities. 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical and/or medical front office setting is strongly preferred.
