The Board Certified Family Medicine Physician works as part of the clinical provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for clinic patients. Physicians may assist in supervision of PA’s or NP’s Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completed an approved residency program in his/her medical specialty, be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and have the ability to relate effectively with patients and staff. Patient Engagement Specialist

The Patient Engagement Specialist serves as a vital link between Johnson Health Center and the local community. The PES works in collaboration with the Director of Patient Engagement and Outreach to provide education and assistance for JHC patients as well as the general community regarding the health insurance marketplace and Medicaid/FAMIS/CHIP. The PES is responsible for educating the community, assisting with enrollment, and helping to build and retain JHC patient capacity. Dentist- Part Time

The Dentist provides leadership in all areas relating to the dental services at Johnson Health Center’s (JHC). Responsible for recommending and implementing dental policies and procedures; providing dental services and education to the patients of BDC; ensuring continuous quality improvement in dental services; representing JHC at organizations concerned with dentistry services to the underserved; and act as an integral part of the clinical and administrative management team of the health center. Staff Accountant

Behavioral Health Therapist- (LCSW/LPC) Pediatrics and OB

The behavioral health therapist provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, development and implementation of behavioral health treatment plan for JHC patients as referred by JHC medical providers. The behavioral health therapist provides counseling, crisis intervention, various case management services and referral services and works with JHC medical providers to ensure care management of the patient.
