The behavioral health therapist provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, development and implementation of behavioral health treatment plan for JHC patients as referred by JHC medical providers. The behavioral health therapist provides counseling, crisis intervention, various case management services and referral services and works with JHC medical providers to ensure care management of the patient. Dentist

The Dentist provides leadership in all areas relating to the dental services at Johnson Health Center’s (JHC). Responsible for recommending and implementing dental policies and procedures; providing dental services and education to the patients of BDC; ensuring continuous quality improvement in dental services; representing JHC at organizations concerned with dentistry services to the underserved; and act as an integral part of the clinical and administrative management team of the health center. Graduation from an accredited dental school. Minimum of five years clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of community health principles and practices preferred. Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required. Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Float) - All Locations

The provider works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients.  The provider performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician within the context of a federally qualified community health center (FQHC).  Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited PA or NP program and be licensed to in the state of Virginia. Psychiatrist/ Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

The Board Certified Staff Psychiatrist or Psych NP works as part of the clinical provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for clinic patients.  Physicians also assist in supervision of community health center PA’s or NP’s as appropriate.  Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completed an approved residency program in his/her medical specialty, be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and have the ability to relate effectively with patients and staff. Referral Coordinator- Bedford

The Referral Coordinator manages community specialist and diagnostic testing referrals as requested by provider staff. Referral appointments are scheduled by coordinating care with the patient, and are managed according to the Referral Policy. Facilities Coordinator

Substance Use Specialist

The Substance Use Specialist (SUS) is responsible for substance use disorder (SUD) referrals, ensuring that referred patients are connected with appropriate services, whether internal or external. The SUS conducts SUD and Office Based Opioid Therapy (OBOT) intakes, new patient appointments, SUD consults, case coordination appointments, provides SUD counseling both individually and in group settings. The SUS collaborates with providers and nursing staff, coordinates as needed, and provides crisis intervention. Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant assists the Dental Director and Dental Hygienist in the care and treatment of patients, filing patient charts, updating records, and performing administrative functions to assist the Patient Assistance Specialist. Patient Transportation Specialist

The Patient Transportation Specialist (PTS) is responsible for providing non-emergent patient transportation to Johnson Health Center (JHC) facilities as well as specialist offices when referred by JHC. The PTS is responsible for ensuring safe transportation in a caring environment for JHC patients. Substance Use Care Coordinator

The Substance Use Care Coordinator works as an integral member of the multidisciplinary Office Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) team under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer and co-supervision of the DATA 2000 waivered practitioner.    The employee will provide integrated care coordination and nursing services to individuals in a federally (HRSA) qualified community health center (FQHC) based OBOT setting while also functioning as the administrative leader of the program.  Must posses Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or other healthcare-related field.  Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience (at least one year with substance use population) and ability to work a flexible schedule.  If interested, please submit resume to: [email protected] and reference: POS 151.

Care Managment Coordinator

The Care Management Coordinator assists the Care Manager with working with the patient population and other Johnson Health Center (JHC) staff to support a patient-centered model of care. Quality and Compliance Coordinator

The Quality and Compliance Coordinator (QCC) works with the Director of Business Intelligence and Strategy to monitor and manage Johnson Health Center (JHC) Quality Improvement Plan initiatives. This person interacts with all staff to gather information and data reports that monitor productivity measures and adherence to government, regulatory, and compliance documents. Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist performs preventive dental procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, radiographs and sealants, as prescribed by the Dentist. The Systems Administrator is a specialized Information Technology team member that assists with general and systems administration functions and serves as tier 2 support for the helpdesk.
