Physicians/Providers
Family Nurse Practitioner
The Family Nurse Practitioner works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients. The Family Nurse Practitioner performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.
Staff Physician
The Staff Physician works as part of the health care team performing a variety of patient centered services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for patients. Physicians also assist in supervision of community health center PA’s or NP’s as appropriate.
Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
The Director of OB/GYN is charged with providing inspiring leadership for planning and oversight of obstetrics and gynecological medical protocols, procedures and programs and oversees daily operations of medical providers while working closely with administrative and operational partners to assure successful achievement of goals and objectives and financial sustainability. This dynamic leader is responsible for driving JHC Core Values and the culture of the department in supporting our mission and vision.
Staff Physician OB/GYN
The OB/GYN Staff Physician works as part of the health care team performing a variety of patient-centered services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for patients. OB/GYN Staff Physicians provide supervision of JHC Physician Assistants (PA’s) and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMW’s) NP’s. As appropriate and included in the local hospital agreement and privileging practice, the Staff OB/GYN Physician supervises and trains local hospital Physician Interns and Physician Residents.
Nursing/Clinical
OB/GYN LPN or RN
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will work in conjunction with our OB/GYN medical providers to provide professional, team based medical care and nursing support in a clinical setting. Under clinical supervision of the Lead Nurse or provider and the Director of OB Practice Services, the nursing staff plays a critical role in the delivery of quality, patient-centered medical care within the context of a federally (HRSA) qualified community health center. (FQHC).
Dental Assistant (Sign-On Bonus)
The Dental Assistant is responsible for chair side assisting dentists in all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to digital radiographs, updating electronic patient records, sterilization, and coordinating continuing care with front desk staff. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must have 1-2 years of previous experience as dental assistant. Pediatric dental experience preferred for one location. Must be Dental X-ray certified before applying. Candidate must be motivated, reliable, and a team player with a positive attitude.

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in conjunction with a medical provider, to provide professional, team based medical care and nursing support in a clinical setting. Under clinical supervision of the Registered Nurse or Provider and operational supervision of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the nursing staff plays a critical role in the delivery of quality, patient- centered medical care within the context of a federally (HRSA) qualified community health center. (FQHC).
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
Individual will function in conjunction with a medical provider to assist in the provision of professional medical care and nursing support. The nursing staff plays a critical role in the delivery of quality medical care within the context of a federally qualified health center (FQHC). The MA is required to have completed the requirements from an accredited institution and have 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Certified/Registration as a Medical Assistant required. Successful candidate will work in a team setting and be able to work a flexible schedule.
Administrative
Referral Coordinator
The Referral Coordinator manages community specialist and diagnostic testing referrals as requested by provider staff. Referral appointments are scheduled by coordinating care with the patient, and are managed according to the Referral Policy. The Referral Coordinator works with the patient population, JHC staff, and the outside provider community supporting the provider team in a patient-centered, model of care.
Patient Scheduling Specialist (Part-Time)
The Patient Scheduling Specialist works as part of the Patient Care Team and assists with the overall scheduling experience. The Patient Scheduling Specialist is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service in all patient contacts via phone and electronic communication, and ensuring timely patient access to appropriate levels of care.

Patient Assistance Specialist
Position will work at the front desk, and be responsible for greeting and checking in/out patients, verifying all demographic information and insurance. Successful candidate will work closely with nursing staff and providers to assure patient process flow is optimized. Individual will also answer phones, make appointments and handle customer relations in a positive, professional manner. Successful candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification desired, 2-5 years customer service skills preferably working in a medical office, working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook),proven ability to work within a team setting, excellent customer service skills with ability to handle all types of customers.
