For over 25 years, Johnson Health Center has been dedicated to serving the Central Virginia community. Since our founding in 1998, Johnson Health Center has provided both affordable and comprehensive healthcare to Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell.
In 2023, Johnson Health Center provided services to over 28,000 individual patients with nearly 100,000 visits. We believe access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right for all individuals, regardless of their background or financial situation.

Donate to Our Pantries
In-kind donations are a vital lifeline for those facing food insecurity, directly impacting their health and well-being. We gratefully accept canned foods, dry goods, personal hygiene products, and baby supplies at any of our health centers. Simply drop-off your donations with our Community Health Worker, and we’ll provide you with a tax receipt.
