Johnson Health Center offers behavioral health services in conjunction with primary care.

About our Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral health services for children and adults are offered at all of our primary care locations. We work closely with medical providers, with the goal being a truly integrated model. We provide screenings to determine if we can provide the level of care needed and will assist with a referral if necessary. Behavioral health services are available through your primary care appointments.

If you are struggling with any of the following, talk with your primary care provider: anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, loss of interest, tearfulness, fatigue, intrusive thoughts, excessive worries or recent grief/loss.

Our behavioral health providers include Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Professional Counselors and Social Workers.

Johnson Health Center is also an Office Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) center. OBOT is a well-established alternative to being treated for opioid addiction in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. The program allows participants to receive medication assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine products while living at home, working, and taking care of their family. The program combines medical visits with counseling and care coordination services to ensure the whole person is being treated. JHC can also take care of your primary care, behavioral health and dental needs without having to see multiple healthcare organizations. This program is offered at Bedford Community Health Center and Amherst Community Health Center.
