Annual Fund
Your gift to the Annual Fund provides essential, unrestricted support that keeps Johnson Health Center agile and responsive in a rapidly changing world. Unlike grants earmarked for specific programs, these funds ensure we can cover our most urgent needs and continue delivering quality care.
$30 Supports a patient’s medical visits for a full year.
$80 Ensures a year of dental care for a patient in need.
$150 Provides transportation for a patient to and from healthcare visits for a full year.
$500 Supports a patient’s comprehensive OB/GYN care from pregnancy to childbirth.

Johnson Health Center is growing to meet the increasing demand for services in Central Virginia. The new Amherst County Community Health Center is now open, offering a full range of services, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy.

Donate to Our Pantries
In-kind donations are a vital lifeline for those facing food insecurity, directly impacting their health and well-being. We gratefully accept canned foods, dry goods, personal hygiene products, and baby supplies at any of our health centers. Simply drop-off your donations with our Community Health Worker, and we’ll provide you with a tax receipt.

Advocacy is key to sustaining and expanding the reach of Community Health Centers. By working with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), we educate policymakers on the critical role health centers play in our communities.
