Primary Care
Johnson Health Center provides quality, comprehensive primary care for adult patients.
Johnson Health Center provides quality, comprehensive health care for adult patients in a Patient-Centered Medical Home. Our staff includes medical doctors, advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners/physician assistants), licensed counselors, and an array of nursing staff including nurses, medical assistants, and care managers in an effort to meet all of your primary care needs.
Most of us associate going to the doctor with being sick or injured, but even the healthiest adults should see a Primary Care Provider (PCP) regularly in order to best manage their health.
Your Primary Care Provider can help address common ailments including respiratory infections, headaches, back pain, etc. They also manage chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, anxiety and depression. Your PCP will schedule routine tests so you can have the most up-to-date information about your conditions, and can help you stay on track with your medications.
By scheduling regular appointments with your PCP, you’ll feel more comfortable having conversations about your health and asking the right questions to ensure your needs are met.
Providers are available 24/7 for emergent needs. Call any JHC phone number to be routed to the on call provider.
Immunizations are not just for children. Protection from some childhood vaccines can wear off over time. You may also be at risk for vaccine-preventable disease due to your age, job, lifestyle, travel, or health conditions.
All adults need immunizations to help them prevent getting and spreading serious diseases that could result in poor health, missed work, medical bills, and not being able to care for family.
All adults need a seasonal flu (influenza) vaccine every year. The flu vaccine is especially important for people with chronic health conditions, pregnant women, and older adults.
