Chelsea joined our our Behavioral Health team in August 2020, as our Associate Director of Counseling Services. She has worked in the mental health field since 2014, most recently as a school-based Mental Health Program Director. Chelsea earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from James Madison University, before completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Old Dominion University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, as well as a Registered Play Therapist and she is currently pursuing her EMDR Certification. Chelsea was also recognized as a Millennial on the Move by Lynchburg Business Magazine in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially at Smith Mountain Lake. She is an avid community advocate and volunteer and currently serves as the Executive Vice President for the Junior League of Lynchburg.
